GULF OIL SPILL – HOW YOU CAN HELP!

Hair is naturally absorbent and can be made into nylon booms used to soak up and contain an oil spill. The Barbara Forgione Salon is collecting the hair we cut and any used nylons or tights donated, and sending to Matter of Trust- a nonprofit dedicated to create and aid sustainable ecosystems- to be made into absorbent booms and hair mats.

Please donate: First Aid Kits, Antibiotics, Bandages, Hand Sanitizer, Pain Killers, Diapers and Baby Formula, Gauze, Rubbing Alcohol, Hydrogen Peroxide, Surgical Gloves, etc.

Any donated checks will be used for shipping medical supplies, x-ray equipment, and the purchase of clean drinkable water.

Yuko Systems is recognized worldwide as a chemically proven, thermal reconditioning method for straightening and restoring natural beauty to hair. Yuko will straighten any type of curly or unruly hair, re-texturizing and providing low-maintenance silky smooth tresses.
