We'll straighten out your curly hair woes!

We receive countless calls at the salon regarding information and the benefits of chemical hair straightening techniques. We offer Yuko Japanese Hair Straightening and Keratin Treatments. We feel it is important to give you all the details when it comes to your hair, so which is best for you?

Yuko Systems is recognized worldwide as a chemically proven, thermal reconditioning method for straightening and restoring natural beauty to hair. Yuko will straighten any type of curly or unruly hair, re-texturizing and providing low-maintenance silky smooth tresses. The quality of results is exquisite, leaving your hair how you’ve always wanted: definitely a worthwhile investment! The Yuko method is a four to five hour process, consisting of a consultation, pre-treatment replenishing hair with essential nutrients, application of solution to relax hair, ironing to straighten and revive, and neutralize and styling as the final touch. This is a permanent procedure, lasting six months to a year!

Keratin straightening, from Brazil, consists of chemical that binds with hair, improving each strand and creating a sleek, strong, and manageable finish. Future damage is prevented, such as environmental factors, as the cuticle is coated and repaired. This is also a process that can take up to five hours, results usually lasting about three months, varying for each individual. One should consider that the product works best on very damaged porous hair, and is not permanent.

Both straightening techniques require the client to follow guidelines at home, such as to not tie, tuck, or wash, for a few days after the treatment to ensure its permanence.
